About Hannah
Hi, I'm Hannah,
and I'm really glad you found your way here.
If you've been feeling like you're not coping the way you should be,
I want you to know that's exactly who this space is for.
I'm Hannah — a registered psychologist with a deep personal and professional commitment to perinatal mental health. I work with women across Australia who are navigating pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood, and finding it harder than they expected.
My path to this work is personal. I've lived through the profound disorientation of the perinatal period myself — the gap between what I thought it would feel like and what it actually felt like. That experience didn't just shape who I am. It shaped the kind of psychologist I wanted to be
I know what it is to sit with feelings you're not sure you're allowed to have. To love fiercely and still feel lost. To wonder whether what you're experiencing is normal, or whether something is wrong, or whether those two things can somehow both be true at once.
They can. And you deserve support either way.
How I work
I work from my home office nestled in the Blue Mountains. My sessions are delivered via telehealth to women across Australia, proudly working through SGP Psychology.
Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR)
Helping you build psychological flexibility
learning to move toward what matters even when difficult thoughts and feelings are present.
Acceptance & Commitment
Therapy (ACT)
Helping you build psychological flexibility
learning to move toward what matters even when difficult thoughts and feelings are present.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Understanding the relationship between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviour
Gently shifting patterns that are
keeping you stuck.
I draw on evidence-based approaches tailored to where you are right now — not a rigid formula, but a thoughtful combination of what the research shows works and what feels right for you as an individual.
Woven through everything I do is an understanding of matrescence — the developmental and identity transformation of becoming a mother. So much of what women experience in the perinatal period makes far more sense when we hold it in that context.
Sessions are 50 minutes via telehealth, from wherever you are in Australia. My consulting room looks out over the bush, yours might be a feeding chair, a kitchen table, or a bedroom with the door closed. Real life is welcome here.
